Embera Village and Agua Clara Lock highlights
- Drive from PTY Airport to Embera Public Dock located at the Gatun River and take a dugout canoe in order to reach the village.
- On our way to the canoe, you might find some wildlife in the area.
- Be hosted by the Leader of the Embera in the village and learn about their background history, culture, handicrafts, dances and music.
- Enjoy a local Indian meal (Deep fried plantains with fried Tilapia fish).
- Head towards the Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center to observe the infrastructure created for large vessels in order to go through the Panama Canal.
- Ride back to Panama City to drop off at your reserved hotel.
