Description
Travel to Lake Ziway, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Rift Valley of Ethiopia, located about 100 miles south of Addis Ababa. Ride a boat on the lake and spot different species of birds thriving on the shores of the lake. Visit Axum Tsion St. Mary, the island monastery of Tullo Gudo and spend some time in its tranquil surroundings.

Ziway Lake & Axum Tsion St. Mary Tour
Pick up from the hotel and travel to Ziway Lake in the Great Rift Valley.
Ride a boat on the beautiful lake and proceed to the island of Tullo Gudo.
Visit Axum Tsion St. Mary Church which once housed the Ark of the Covenant.
Return to the shore of the lake and look for birds and some hippos.
Drive back to the hotel.
