Description

Hike to the most remote and isolated village, Khinaliq, a 5000 years old Azerbaijan settlement. Hidden on the northern slope of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. The residents have managed to preserve their unique language and culture due to their isolation. Learn more about their history, lifestyle, and traditions in this 2-day tour!

Itinerary

Day 1: Quba City to Khinaliq Village
- At 09:30 am, meet your guide in Quba City or get picked up from your hotel.
- An offroad car arrives in Khinaliq.
- Familiarise yourself with the terrain and history, lifestyle, and traditions of the locals.
- Stay overnight in the village.
Day 2: Back to Guba City
- Early in the morning, start hiking to Golden Rock Mountain.
- By evening, return to the village and then back to the city.

If you are not interested in staying in the village and want to visit for about 3-4 hours, it will cost you 80 Azn from Quba to Khinaliq roundtrip, plus 20 Azn for guiding and translating the history of the village.
