3-Day Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve Tour with Pink Dolphins

Welcome to the Cuyabeno Amazon Rainforest Tour at the meeting point, Planeta Azul Resort in Lago Agrio, where you will enjoy a hearty Ecuadorian breakfast. Travellers arriving by plane will be greeted at the airport upon arrival.

From there, the group will travel by van to the entrance of the Cuyabeno Reserve, followed by a lovely canoe ride along the captivating Cuyabeno River to the ecolodge.

Spend the afternoon discovering Laguna Grande, one of the main attractions of Cuyabeno National Park. This paradise offers the chance to swim with pink dolphins and witness a stunning sunset.

Day one concludes with a night jungle hike, dinner, and an enlightening talk with the naturalist guides about the animals and environment of this unique jungle ecosystem.

Wake up to a fascinating sunrise and the sounds of the jungle - birds flying and chirping around the bungalows, tree frogs singing, and the wind gently flowing through the trees. After breakfast, begin your exploration with a trek along the banks of the Cuyabeno River. Keep an eye out for countless species of plants, enormous trees, aquatic vines, incredible orchids, medicinal herbs, and a fantastic variety of wild animals and birds indigenous to the Ecuadorian Amazon.

After the jungle trek, a lovely lunch will be served, followed by time to relax at the ecolodge. Unwind on the hammocks and lounge chairs with a good book.

Later, head out on a boat ride to Laguna Grande and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Take a swim close to the grey and pink dolphins as they frolic in the water. After enjoying one of the most spectacular sunsets of your life, return to the lodge for dinner.

The best is yet to come with an exciting nighttime canoe ride on the river. Watch closely for the Amazon's legendary black caimans as they hunt for prey. The sights and mysterious sounds of the jungle after dark will fill your senses and leave you with unforgettable memories.

Set out early on a morning boat ride to enjoy the sunrise and watch the glorious Amazon birds at their most active time of day. The colours, sounds, and sights of the morning are simply stunning. Breakfast will be served upon your return.

Then embark on a canoe ride along the Cuyabeno River as you make your way back to civilization. Transportation is provided from the entrance of Cuyabeno National Park back to Lago Agrio.
