Description
A mystical adventure of the Manaslu Circuit Trek offers travellers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, glacier valleys, the gigantic snow-clad peak, narrow river valley, wild animals, and lust green forest with many flora and fauna. The trial of the Manaslu Circuit Trek follows the Budi Gandaki River route, also known as the salt trading route of the ancient period. During the trekking, the magnificent view of Mount Manaslu, Mount Himalchuli, Shringi Himal, Buddha Himal and Ganesh Himal will engross and makes a traveller forget all the difficulties of the trek.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Get picked up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free at leisure
Overnight stay at your hotel in Kathmandu
Traveller’s Note: The office representative will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Trek preparation and Kathmandu Sightseeing
Enjoy the hotel breakfast.
Get picked up by the team and head to the office for your trek briefing and preparation.
In the afternoon, do sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Kathmandu Durbar Square
Swayambunath Monkey Temple
Drop off at your hotel
Overnight in Kathmandu
Traveller’s Note: The staff will briefly explain the program. You will visit cultural heritages, including some famous world heritage sites like Swyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Soti Khola-650mtr, 6/7hours
Eat the hotel breakfast and check out.
Get picked up by the team and transfer to the bus park or by private jeep.
Savour a scenic bus/jeep ride to Sotikhola, the starting point of the Manaslu Region.
Check-in at the Soti Khola Hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Traveller’s Note: Soti is a small town famous for marketing to local people from the Northern part of Gorkha District. Most of the people are Buddhist and Hindu, and it is situated on the Bank of Bhudhi Gandaki River, which is started from Tsum Valley and Larke Pass.

Day 4: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola (870m/2,952ft) 5-6 hours.
After the hotel breakfast, check out.
From here, the road takes you to Machhakhola.

Traveller’s Note: Most of the way is by the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River, and you can expect a waterfall, monkey-watching rice field, and green forest. If the weather permits, you can see your first views of the Ganesh Himal by looking out on the road; there is a high chance to see waterfalls and cross several local settlements.

Day 5: Maccha Khola to Jagat (2340m/ 7676ft) 6-7 hours.
Eat breakfast and depart. Today the Ganesh Himal is in clear view.
Pass some waterfalls, stone-paved ways and a mani wall with your Manaslu hiking guide.
Arrive in Jagat.
Dinner and overnight stay in Jagat
Traveller’s Note: Amazing Ganesh and Shingri Himal view await today; from Jagat, the previously restricted trekking area will start with your adventure!

Day 6: Jagat trek to Deng (1860 m)
After breakfast, depart.
Start the trail by heading gently uphill.
Followed by a flat levelled plateau, continue until reaching the river crossing.
Cross the suspension bridge over the Bhudi Gandaki and enter Philim village.
Climb uphill further until you reach Ekle Bhatti.
Proceed to cross the suspension bridge and get reach to Deng.
Dinner and overnight stay at Deng
Traveller’s Note: Today your destination is Deng where you can try local food with a good test. On proceeding further, you cross the Siyar Khola bridge and reach a junction where the trail separates to Tsum valley on your right. Like this, you walk and reach Deng and you will spend overnight there.

Day 7: Deng to Namrung(2630m 7 to 8hrs)
Wake up for breakfast and departure.
Start by heading down to the riverside.
After crossing the bridge, the upwards climb takes you to Ranagoan.
From here, trek further to Bihi Phedi.
The trail splits into two, and you take the right-side trail to Ghap.
After passing through Ghap village, climb up to Namrung.

Traveller’s Note: Today, you get clear views of the Ganesh, Shingri and Kutang Himal.

Day 8: Namrung Trek to Lho (3,180m)
Rise for breakfast and departure.
Permit check post and start the trail towards Lho.
Following the path through Lihi Gaon.
Continue downwards to Sho Goan. It’s not long before reaching the village of Lho
Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in Lho village.
Traveller’s Note: The eighth-highest mountain in the world, Mt Manaslu, comes into sight today! Today is the first day to see Manaslu, and especially the fascinating view of Larke going to start today. Also, you will see most locals clad in traditional Tibetan dress while walking on the way to Lho. From this day, you will move towards the quiet high altitude, so walking slowly and checking your body signs carefully is recommended.

Day 9: Lho Trek to Samagau (Ryo) (3520 m)
Open your eyes to breakfast and departure.
Today is a short trek as you gradually head towards Sama (Ryo).
Stop in Shyala to take in the fantastic 360-degree Himalayan view.
Head further until reaching Sama (Ryo).
Dinner and overnight stay in Sama (Ryo) Village
Traveller’s Note: Sama is locally more known as Samagaon, with gaon meaning village. Today incredible views await of the Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Nadi Peak, Naike Peak, Kutang Himal and the Pangbuche Himal. Shyala is the first town you will have today, which is one of the best viewpoints of this region to see the 360-degree only mountains from town.

Day 10: Samagaun (Ryo) Acclimatization day
Rise for breakfast. A well-deserved acclimatization day is planned today
After breakfast, you can take a hike to get more used to the high altitude:
Option 1: Hike around Birendra Lake and Manaslu Base Camp.
Option 2: hike up to the Pungen Gumpa.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sama (Ryo)
Traveller’s Note: Samagaun is a village development committee in Gorkha District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 665 and had 179 houses in the village. Today is an acclimatization day; you can hike around Birendra Lake/Manaslu Base Camp, Pungen Gumpa, etc. Discuss with the Nepali trekking guide which will best suit your fitness and desire.

Day 11: Samagau-Trek to Samdo (12,713 feet / 3,875 m) 3/4hrs walking.
After breakfast, departure. It’s a relatively short trek today up to Samdo.
Due to the high elevation, take it slowly while climbing upwards.
By lunchtime, reach Samdo village.
In the afternoon, you can rest or hike up to Samdo Peak.

Traveller’s Note: The views of Mt Manaslu from Samdo Peak are just incredible is you have the stamina, it is worth hiking up there. Samdo is a well-known Tibetan refugee camp. After spending a whole day and two nights on Samagau, you start your treks towards the Samdo or close to hiking options. Samdo has excellent views of Manaslu and other Himalayan ranges, including Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo, and possibly Kang Guru behind the pass. Here you can see many beautiful mountain birds like the Lophophorus (the national bird of Nepal). You can see yak, houres, mountain mice, blue sheep, etc.

Day 12: Samdo to Dharamsala (14,633 feet / 4,460 m) 4/5hrs walking
Relish breakfast and depart.
Today, head to the foot of the Larya La, Dharmasala.
The trail leads slowly upwards until reaching our overnight stop.

Traveller’s Note: Tomorrow, you face your first pass at the Larkya La at 5,160 meters. Better take a good night's rest and prepare your camera batteries. Did you know that Dharmasala is also known as Larkya Phedi? After breakfast today, move through the Samdo to Dharamsala. You will pass a seasonal Tibetan market called Larke Bazaar beside the Budi Gandaki River. You'll see many traditional monasteries. While walking towards Dharamsala, do shorter hike leaves time for acclimatization and relaxing in the afternoon in Dharamsala.

Day 13: Dharmasala to Bhimtang (3,590m) via Larkya La Pass (5,160m) 7/8 hours walking
Rise up for early breakfast and departure.
The trail goes slowly up until reaching the Larkya La pass.
At the pass, take a break to enjoy the amazing views.
After finishing the crossing, the trail leads downhill to Bhimtang.
Dinner and overnight stay at Bhimtang village
Traveller’s Note: From the Larkya La Pass, you get some amazing views of the Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kung, Kang Guru and the Annapurna II. All above 6,000-meter mountains! Today is one of the crucial and most waited days of the trip for a great view and adventure (7-8 hrs). Once you got in Bhimthang, it might be the best accommodation of the trek and the right place to celebrate the great success of Larke La.

Day 14: Bimthang to Tilije ( 2,300 m/7,546 feet ) 5/5hrs walking
Wake up for breakfast and departure.
Hike downhill for most of the day.
After a good 4 hours, reach the village of Ghoa.
From here, continue downwards to Tilje.
Dinner and overnight stay in Tilje village
Traveller’s Note: Waking up early today allows for a fantastic sunrise view from the teahouse. After passing the top peek of the world, you are in the Bimthang by having, and you are starting your next journey towards the Tilje. Tilje is a beautiful village with beautiful people of their local culture. In Tilje, you can have good hotels and find free Wi-Fi after crossing the mountain.

Day 15: Tilije trek to Dharapani and drive to Besisahar by jeep. 6/7 hours
Rise for breakfast and departure.
Follow the trail down to Dharapani.
The path leads through pine forests and several small villages.
Eat lunch in Dharapani and arrange a jeep to Besisahar.
After lunch, drive to Besisahar.
After arriving at Besisahar after 4 hours of driving, get into the town, have good food and drinks, and then plan for the further days.
Traveller’s Note: This is your last day of the massive Manaslu circuit trek.

Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu or Pokhara by Tourist Bus 5/6 hrs. driving.
Appreciate breakfast and depart.
Drive to your destination.
Traveller’s Note: A guide and porters will drive back to Kathmandu. If the clients have time, spending a few nights in Pokhara, a beautiful touristic town in Nepal, is recommended. So transfer to Pokhara or if there is no time, then together drive back to Kathmandu.
