Itinerary

Day 1: Fort Dauphin
Spend a day touring the town of Fort Dauphin, which includes walking around a fisherman's village and local market and checking out the Anosy Museum.
End your day with a swim at Libanona beach.

Day 2: Travel to Berenty
- Take a trip to the deep south of Madagascar to Berenty reserve. Here, see a large Sisal plantation and what makes Madagascar famous - the lemurs!
- Visit the Museum of Arambelo in Berenty to learn more about the history of the south with your Madagascar guide.

Day 3: Berenty Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the reserve. The reserve has several forest trails that you can explore.

Day 4: Travel to Ambovombe
- Travel to Ambovombe, the largest town in the Spiny Forest.
- Visit the town and the market and stay overnight.

Day 5: Visit Ambondro village
- Move to Ambondro village. Here, you will see the way of life in a local village.
- Meet local weavers, learn spiny dancing and visit the local healer.

Day 6: Travel back to Fort Dauphin
- Return to Fort Dauphin and stop by the craft market in the spiny forest.
- See baobabs and other flora and fauna.

Day 7: Last day in Fort Dauphin
Shop at Tanambao market, where you will experience the local lifestyle.
Relax at Libanona beach and surf at Akomba beach.
