Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

   • Leave Arusha in the morning with packed lunches and drive to Tarangire.

   • Admire the majestic baobab trees, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.

   • Spot the great diversity of wildlife, including lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephants.

   • Have lunch provided at the picnic point. 

   Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Camp.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • Drive to Serengeti National Park, passing Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the morning after breakfast. 

   • Stop in some of the beautiful views overlooking the crater.

   • Continue via Olduvai Gorge and cross the border.

   • Have the picnic lunch provided by your driver guide.

   • Enjoy game viewing enroute until you reach the Seronera campsite situated in the center of the park. 

   Finish the game drive and overnight at Serengeti Camp.

3. Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Do game drives and game viewing in Serengeti National Park, where you expect to see many animals early in the morning after breakfast.

   • Spot lions, elephants, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, cheetah, warthogs, hyena and lots and lots of birdlife.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.

   Drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Camp.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Descend the crater floor (600m) for game viewing with a picnic lunch after breakfast.
   • See many animals, including black rhino, in their free surroundings: lions, zebra, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, leopards and also abundant birdlife including pelicans, red flamingoes, turtles, fire finch, etc. Sometimes, if lucky, spot the big five inside Ngorongoro Crater.
   • Ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha in the afternoon.
