Tour of Woburn Abbey
Meet the guide at your local hotel or train/tube station, and your all-inclusive guided tour will begin.
Drive through the massive estate which is home to hundreds of deer. The house is full of interesting and lavishly decorated rooms you'll visit; the view from the bedroom where Queen Victoria stayed is especially memorable as the room is richly decorated with shells similar to the famous palace Potsdam, Germany.
Explore the rich display of silver and gold in the basement. In many ways, this is more impressive than The Crown Jewels.
Once finished with the tour, the guide will return you to the pick-up point. However, if you want to go on a diversion to a pretty village, old church, or country pub, that can be arranged for. After all, all tours are leisurely paced and un-rushed, only complete when you're happy you have seen everything that you'd like to see.
