Day 1: Arrival - Sightseeing Addis (The new Flower)
You will be picked up by your guide from the airport. Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Begin your sightseeing of Addis with a tour of Mount Entoto, known for spectacular panoramic views of Addis. Descend and drive to the National Museum where you will have a chance to explore the oldest hominids of the ‘Lucy’ fossil.
Visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral built during the WWII. Then proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, which was once the palace of ancient Emperor Hailesellase.
Return to the hotel and stay the night in Addis.

Day 2: Fly Addis – Bahir Dar (45 min)
Reach the airport to board your flight to Bahir Dar. When you reach, check in at your hotel in Bahir Dar.
Take a boat cruise on Lake Tana to visit the 14th-century Monastery of Ura Kidane Mihret, which is one of the most famous Zege peninsula monasteries.
In the afternoon, drive to the village of Tis Isat to see the Blue Nile Falls. (Note that the volume of the water could be minimal because of the construction of the new dam.)
Stay the night in Bahir Dar.

Day 3: Drive Bahir Dar – Gondar (3-4 hours)
After your breakfast, travel to Gondar, the royal capital of Ethiopia, founded by Emperor Fasilides in 1636.
In the afternoon, visit the city of Gondar and drive to the castles and churches built by Emperor Fasilides and his descendants.
- Proceed to the Debre Birhan Selassie church (the Enlightening of Trinity), the most famous place for worship in Gondar.
Stay the night in Gondar.

Day 4: Monolithes Exploration in Aksum
Board a flight to Aksum, once called the Aksumite empire or the Kingdom of Aksum. With more than 2500 years of history, the city is home to the original Ark of covenants, the prime historical site in the north of Ethiopia.
Take a tour of the city and visit the St. Mary’s Church, the Sanctuary Chapel, which is the repository of the ‘Ark of the covenant’. You will also find interest in places like the coronation yard, Stelae Park, Tomb of Kaleb and his son Gebre Meskel, Ezana’s Inscriptions, Queen of Sheba’s Bath, Queen of Sheba’s palace ruins, and the Aksum Museum.
Stay the night at the hotel in Aksum.

Day 5: Fly Axum – Lalibela
Board a flight from Aksum to Lalibela, a city famous for its underground rock-hewn cathedrals.
In the afternoon, visit the top attractions of Lalibela, which include the Church of St. George, Bete Medhane Alem church, Bete Amanuel church, and the tomb of Adam.
Stay the night in Lalibela.

Day 6: Fly Lalibela – Addis
- Board a flight from Lalibela to return back to Addis. Attend a folkloric dinner where you will get to taste several national dishes and watch ethnic performances from dancers of Africa. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be held.
Return to hotel and take rest.
