Itinerary

Day 1: Iringa to Ruaha
Meet your guide at Iringa and depart towards your tour destination.
Stop at the park entrance gate, and learn about Ruaha National Park.
Have lunch at Msembe HQ and check into the accommodation of your choice.
Go for an evening-game viewing drive along the Great Ruaha River.

Day 2: Explore Ruaha
- Wake up at about 6 am to explore the elusive animals of Ruaha.
- Return to enjoy a hearty breakfast at around 9 am.
- Leave for a game drive.
- Have lunch around 1 pm and leave for a drive again.
- See crocodiles, hippos, waterbuck, and more by the Ruaha River.
Dinner and overnight at the resting point.

Day 3: Game drive in Ruaha
Wake up for an early morning game drive.
Return for breakfast around 9 am and later commence with your game drive.
Enjoy a picnic lunch.
Go for game drives the entire evening.

Day 4: Mkwawa Museum & Departure
Enjoy an early morning drive and leave for Iringa.
Stop at the Mkwawa museum and know about the chief Mkwawa-hehe tribe leader who fought with the Germans and later shot himself to avoid capture.
After that drive to the Isimila stone age site, learn more about their ancestors, and see man-made stone tools used for hunting purposes.
Return to Iringa.
