Get acquainted with Morocco’s landscapes, geography and lifestyles with this tour that begins from the metropolitan city of Marrakech and moves through the Berber villages in the foothills of Atlas. See how the mountains change their colour as the road takes you to the palm groves of Draa valley. On a camelback in Zagora, visit the nomad tents, including the beautiful kasbahs in Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou!
Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou to Draa Valley to Zagora
- Get picked up at 8:30 am and begin the desert tour to Zagora.
- Cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260m asl).
- Arrive at the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou – a UNESCO World Heritage listing and one of the most extraordinary Kasbahs in Morocco.
- After lunch, continue the drive to Zagora, passing the Anti-Atlas, the Berber villages of Agdz and the amazing Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees.
- In the evening, arrive in Zagora and begin your camel trek into the middle of the desert, where you’ll stay overnight in a bivouac camp.

Day 2: Zagora to Draa Valley to Ouarzazate to Marrakech
- Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise over the sand dunes, followed by a traditional breakfast.
- After breakfast, ride back to meet your driver and begin your return to Marrakech.
- Stop in Ouarzazate – the Hollywood of Morocco – where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt.
- In the afternoon, continue the drive back to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains.
