Bukit Lawang Jungle Tour
Pick up from the hotel at 9 o’clock after breakfast and travel to the primary jungle.
Enter the Orangutan territory and discover a variety of flora and fauna in this region.
See different kinds of birds, reptiles, animals such as Great Argusianus Pheasant- a peacock, Great Hornbill, Horbil Rangkok Gading, amphibians such as- Monitor Lizard, Turtle, Water Snake, reptilian such as-Iguana, insects such as beetles, moths and butterfly, mammals such as- Orangutans, Pongo abelii, Siamang Black Gibbon, Wau-Wau White-Handed Gibbon and different kinds of monkeys such as-Thomashy leaf monkey, Long Tailed Macaque, Pig-Tailed Macaque and Dusky Leaf Monkey.
Observe Orangutans' behaviour, like how they communicate with each other, their resting mode, food selection and their sounds.
Have lunch in the jungle that includes packaged fried rice called Nasi Goreng, the famous trekking food in and around Bukit Lawang.
Arrive at the beautiful riverside of Bohorok River and have fun, relax with swimming and sunbathing.
Enjoy a white water rafting experience and go down the river to the village by tube rafting.
Return to the hotel.
