Itinerary

1. Day 1: Negombo

   • Pick up from Colombo International Airport (CMB).

   • Arrival at a contemporary hotel in Negombo.

   • Exploring the city of Negombo.

   • Moonlit dinner at the hotel.

   • A comfortable overnight stay in Negombo to relax.

2. Day 2: Dambulla

   • Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel.

   • Visit to the renowned Pinnawala Elephant orphanage.

   • Visit to the Etha Gala also known as Elephant Rock in Kurunegala.

   • Break for an ethereal lunch in the exotic city of Kurunegala. 

   • Arrival at the hotel in Dambulla.

   • Tour in the local Dambulla vegetable & fruit market.

   • We break for dinner. 

   • Overnight stay and rest in Dambulla.

3. Day 3: Dambulla

   • Energizing breakfast at the hotel before we begin the day's adventures.

   • Visit to Polonnaruwa Archaeological city to encounter the ancient remains of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa.

   • Lunch break before we get going again. 

   • Visit to Ritigala ancient Buddhist monastery & mountain dating back to 1st century BCE.

   • Visit to Ritigala Elephant Transit Home.

   • Relaxing dinner at the hotel.

   • Overnight stay in Dambulla.

4. Day 4: Dambulla

   • Breakfast to prepare you for the exciting day.

   • Visit an ancient rock fortress- Sigiriya.

   • Tour through the beautiful gardens and other parts of the Sigiriya village. 

   • Lunch in the village. 

   • Experience a wildlife safari in Minnariya, Kawdulla or Hurulu Eco Park.

5. Day 5: Kandy

   • Last breakfast in Dambulla city. 

   • Walk through the Cave temple complex of Dambulla.

   • Lunch before the drive to Kandy.

   • Arrival at Kandy Hotel.

   • Tour through the city of Kandy- the last capital of the ancient Kings' era of Sri Lanka. 

   • Visit the extraordinary Temple of Tooth Relic.

   • Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

6. Day 6: Nuwara Eliya

   • Breakfast at the hotel in Kandy.

   • A spiritual and physical journey to Embekke, Gadaladeniya & Lankathilaka Temples.

   • Visit the highest waterfall of Sri Lanka- the Ramboda waterfalls.

   • Drive to Nuwara Eliya.

   • Visit the highest Village of Sri Lanka (Shanthipura).

7. Day 7: Nuwara Eliya

   • Breakfast at the Hotel at 5.30 am.

   • Visit the biodiversity-rich Horton Plains National park & the end of the world.

   • Lunch on the slopes of this plateau. 

   • Visit the local Tea Factory, shops & Mecum.

   • A tour into the city of lights- Nuwara Eliya.

   • Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

8. Day 8: Yala

   • Breakfast at the hotel on the borders of the Indian ocean. 

   • Visit the "Little New Zealand"- Ambewela farm.

   • Visit the Hakgala botanical garden.

   • Experience the Ella gap overlooking the southern plains of Sri Lanka.

   • Enjoy a lunch break. 

   • Sightseeing the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka- Ravana waterfalls and caves.

   • Go on a short drive to Yala through the countryside of Sri Lanka.

9. Day 9: Yala

   • Proceed for a full-day expedition safari in Yala National Park. (Take away lunch).

   • Relaxation time and dinner.

10. Day 10: Mirissa
