Places to visit near Northern Border of Israel
6:00 am: Depart from Tel Aviv.
8:30 am-9:00 am: Visit Metula and Har Tzfiya Observation Point.
9:30 am-10:30 am: Proceed to Tel Dan Nature Reserve, where the Dan River begins and the Jordan river's primary source. Walk along flowing streams and rich vegetation and visit the archaeological site of Biblical Dan.
11:00 am-11:30 am: Go to Ein Kinya or Masada for a traditional Druze pita lunch, which is an incredible culinary delight.
12:00 pm-1:00 pm: Explore the battlefields and observation points from Mt. Bental, a volcanic mountain in the Golan Heights.
1:30 pm-2:30 pm: Tour Israel's famous Golan Heights Winery, where you will get an opportunity to taste and buy their award-winning wine.
3:00 pm-4:00 pm: Meet with the soldiers at a base in the Golan (subject to group security clearance).
4:30 pm-5:30 pm: Move to a Kibbutz on Israel's border and hear stories from residents about what it was like to live through turbulent times and how they survived the rockets falling in their back yards.
5:30 pm- 8:00 pm: Drive back to Tel Aviv.
