Join this 2-day wildlife tour of Kumai, Tanjung Harapan, Pondok Tanggui, and Camp Leakey, and get a chance to see orangutans and other endemic Indonesian species up close and feed them with your own hands. As an added bonus, taste some authentic oriental cuisine and see magical fireflies whilst living on luxury boats.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport and River cruise to Tanjung Harapan
Meet your private tour guide outside the Pangkalan Bun Airport and transfer to Kumai Jetty to board the traditional wooden boat called "Klotok".
Enjoy lunch on the boat while sailing up the river from Kumai to Tanjung Harapan, before witnessing the feeding activities in Tanjung Harapan.
At about 17:00, cross the Sekonyir River. Observe the proboscis monkeys, long tail macaque, silver langurs, wild orangutans and crocodiles.
Overnight stay on the boat after dinner is served.

Day 2: Feed monkeys at Pondok Tanggui and Camp Leakey
After breakfast, the journey continues to Pondok Tanggui, where the feeding time is 09:00 am to 10:00 am. You have higher chances of seeing orangutans from a closer distance in this larger feeding site.
Proceed to Camp Leakey, the place with the largest orangutan population. It is the oldest rehabilitation center for orphaned orangutans.
Enjoy lunch served on board at about 12:00 pm.
Continue to witness the feeding activity. The feeding time is 14:00 to 15:00 pm, and you get a chance to see many other animals.
Spot some monkeys on the way before reaching Rantau Panjang. Enjoy dinner once boat is anchored.

Head back to the airport.
