Description
Visit one of the most photogenic and, rightly, one of the most photographed archipelago of Croatia- the Kornati, located in the northern part of Dalmatia, in the Šibenik-Knin County. It consists of 140 islands and islets covering an area of 114 square miles. 89 of the islands are part of the Kornati National Park, which was established in 1980. With its natural beauty, numerous coves and crystal clear blue waters, it’s easy to see why this part of Croatia has been designated a national park. The largest island in the archipelago is Kornat – from which the group of islands gets its name.
