Cooking Paella
Shop in one of the largest markets in Europe, Central Market, which is known for its variety, quality and freshness of its products.
Learn about the past and present of selling fresh produce, anecdotes about older stalls, their continued existence through generations and the modernist architecture. Discover a real pleasure for the senses.
Prepare the pans, light the fires, and get ready to cook. Dress as in a professional chef school with an apron and a hat, which is necessary for reasons of hygiene and safety.
Learn how to cook the dish, step by step. Get an insight into the history of its creation and other interesting stories associated with it.
During the preparation of the Paella, there are moments of active work like frying the meat and vegetables, and quieter moments like cooking the broth. During these quiet moments, get a taste of Valencian wine, red or white, or Valencian Brew. It is accompanied by a tasting of tomatoes seasoned with the best virgin oils appellation of Valencia.
Eat the authentic Paella that has been cooked. The paella will be accompanied by a typical Valencian salad and, finally, good local desserts. For drinks, soft drink, wine and beer are available.
Each participant receives a diploma certifying their knowledge of cooking authentic paella.
