Description
Established in 1957, Yonsei University is one of the three most prestigious educational institutions in South Korea. It is a member of the esteemed 'SKY' universities, and admissions here are very competitive. Yonsei University also has a few notable international programs. In this online campus tour, I will help you discover what life is like on the fantastic campus grounds of this university.
We will start from the main gate and pass by the renowned Severance Hospital building, one of the oldest and largest hospitals in South Korea. We will also see the Engineering and Research buildings with some spots where students can socialise and have lunch.
Then, we will cross over to the historic district to tell you how the university was formed and see its first building. Moving on, we will find the open amphitheatre where world-famous K-Pop stars are invited to perform at the annual Akaraka festival; groups like TWICE and iKON have performed here.
Throughout this tour, I will point out several remarkable modern and traditional buildings on the campus. We will also see various dormitories and sports facilities, and learn about the student life and the preparations needed before attending your courses.
