Join me on this exciting interactive online experience where I stream live from the historic streets of Ravenna to the comfort of your own home!
We will begin our virtual tour at the Basilica of San Francesco where we will venture inside to see the flooded crypt and mosaic pavements from the 5th century as well as some medieval frescoes. Then, we will proceed to the tomb of Dante Alighieri, the legendary Italian poet, and philosopher, discovering the amazing story of his bones. After a walk in the city center showing you some highlights of Ravenna, in the end, we can pop into a mosaic workshop to witness artists making glass-base mosaics and gain insights into the step-by-step technique for making mosaics.
