Description

On this live-streamed Buda Castle tour, I walk you through the Southern part of the hilltop. The area is mostly off the beaten track; standard cruise tours or driving tours do not cover it.

We start our online experience from a Turkish graveyard dating back to the late 1600s. We climb up to the Buda Castle’s battlement to take in the iconic views of Pest. Followed by that, we walk by the Royal Palace of Buda and the Alexander Palace before arriving at the middle section of the hilltop, which is covered by most of the sightseeing tours in Budapest.

Adam

I finished my education in 2011 and have been working as a qualified guide ever since. In 2016, I completed a special course organized by the Budapest History Museum for local tourist guides. In 2019 I qualified as a guide of the Dohany street synagogue. Other than just telling facts and figures, I strongly believe that guiding should be entertaining as well. Educating while entertaining is the key phrase for me. As I was born and raised in Budapest I have been an eyewitness to a sleeping beauty's transformation into a multi-cultural metropolis. I can be your insider man to understand the Hungarians better and to have some experiences with the local life.
