Description
Come join me on this live-streamed interactive walking tour and let us venture together into the heart of Venice - Saint Mark's Square. Here, we will behold the sights of the famous Bridge of Sighs, the Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower and Saint Mark's Basilica decorated in mosaics. Then we will explore some hidden corners of this unique city as we walk along the narrow alleys off the beaten tracks.
I would love to chat with you about everything there is to Venice, and will also tell you more about the famous crafts of the city, focusing on specific masks and the history of the world-famous Murano glass. We will take in the views of the Grand Canal and end our tour on the top of the majestic Rialto Bridge, the oldest one across the Grand Canal.
I look forward to seeing you on this Online Experience!

Cinzia Maestrini is a licensed tour guide head over heels in love with her job. After attending a Foreign Language High School, she graduated from Venetian University "Ca' Foscari" with a degree in Mandarin Language and Literature. She studied in England and lived and worked as an interpreter in China to improve her English and Mandarin. Being a Tour Assistant, she worked for several years with Chinese delegations and American groups, travelling with them both in Italy and Europe. Her love for the Arts and History of Venice had grown so much that she decided to study for the specific exam to become a Qualified Professional Tourist Guide in Venice (passing a tough test: 3 written tests and seven oral tests). She will be waiting for the traveller eagerly to take with the traveller the first steps into the contradictory, romantic, mysterious and yet simple city.
Iole Calabrese lives and works as a tour guide in Venice city centre. She majors in foreign languages and is passionate about ancient and modern history. She is also an art addict. Being a guide allows her to combine all her work and interests and share the love she holds for the city of Venice, her home. The city is the cradle of the original folk cultures, traditions and customs of people who are the bones of the city itself. She will introduce you to all of this on her tours.
Lucia Bondetti is a professional tour guide, art historian, and curious art lover. She loves her job, which allows her to share her passion and knowledge with curious travelers. She has lived in New York, Paris, Sofia, Milan, and Venice, discovering amazing creative scenes. Traveling a lot, she decided to transform my passion into a job. Every time she has the opportunity to meet virtually or in-person travelers, she feels so lucky to live in such a magical place like Venice, having incredible hidden gems around her like the charming Treviso.
Elisabetta Amadi has traveled to many countries around the world and has also explored Italy inside out, so she appreciates how valuable your time here is and what makes a trip truly memorable. Take a walk with her as she tells you the stories that have been handed down for generations in her family about sites and famous and not-so-famous personalities of Venice. You can enjoy leisurely walks through Venice, and discover hidden gardens and alleys, boutique shops, and local sites that will make your tour of this beautiful part of Italy a truly memorable one.
