We totally enjoyed this tour with Mayako as our guide. Her knowledge of the Gion district was superb and made us feel that we were there with her! It was great to be able to ask questions and interact with Mayako and we would thoroughly recommend this tour. Being able to walk through the area and with the oldness of the buildings and its history gave us an appreciation of the cultures of Japan. Thank you.

It is really my pleasure to meet Mayako san as my virtual tour guide. She is so smilely and warmth. Apart from touring some of the iconic places such as gion/higashiyama and she also explained about the history which aids my understanding better. I am really thankful that she helped me to make a wish at Yasui Konpira shrine on my behalf that I can visit Japan soon! I REALLY HOPE I CAN VISIT JAPAN VERY SOON!

I love Japan and I travel there every year (been to Japan 10 times!). Ever since the pandemic, we are unable to travel which makes this live virtual tour another way for me to see Japan live once again!
Although I’ve been to Kyoto many times, I never knew the small little details of Gion which Mayako-san explained during the tour. It’s awesome and I love how she used the Merlion as an example to demonstrate how tall the pagoda is! And finally completing the tour with a Merlion and a Singapore flag! It’s so cute and thoughtful!
Also love it that she helped us make a wish at the temple!
Mayako-san is awesome! Thoughtful and also making the tour very interesting!
It would also be nice to have tours for other attractions in Kyoto as well! I would join if it’s hosted by Mayako-san again!

Mayako has been a great guide, providing insights on the culture of Kyoto and explaining the small details that many tourists would miss out.
While it was a virtual tour, Mayako has allowed us to feel as if we were there in Japan and the effort that she put in just to ensure an excellence virtual experience is commendable.
Once again, thank you Mayako and tourHQ for organising!

As i was the only one touring, i could ask my beautiful guide what I just saw and had time to googled for more information and save them.
I love my tour very much and I would have love to stay a little more to see the beautiful sunset - it would be such a magnificient sight.
This virtual tour made me want to go back to Kyoto once travel is safe.

This was a delightful tour. Maya, the tour guide was very enthusiastic and made the experience really interesting. It was my birthday that day and she made it extra special plus I had a private tour which was an added bonus!
It was a great start to the day. I have recommended this tour to my friends and family and will be doing more tourHQs in the future.

The guide Maya was very knowledgeable and kind to share a lot of about the places. The only thing I hope is better internet connection. The video quality will significantly impact user experience for tour like this but it is not very clear, in some parts it's quite blur. Other than that, it's quite an interesting experience
