Join me on this virtual tour live-streamed from Plitvice Lakes National Park, and together we will explore the highlights of the lower area of its vast 300 square kilometre expanse.

We will begin near the map at the Entrance Gate, where I will give you a short brief about the park's history, and how it became a UNESCO site in 1979. Then, we will take a walk down the canyon to visit the highest waterfall in Croatia. From here, you will be able to see four beautiful lakes interconnected with many waterfalls. Each of these lakes (there are a total of 16 within the National Park) has a  legend worth your attention, which I will narrate to you. 

This park has various exciting species of wildlife, both vertebrate and invertebrate, which I will point out to you through this tour, and especially so along the way to two monuments that represent influential figures important to the history of Plitvice.
Moving forward, I will take you to see a few natural underground caves with interesting stories and a healthy population of bats inside. The tour will wrap up with us marvelling at the largest lake in the area, and its' fascinating legend about treasure buried within its depths. The lake is named after a goat, yet another story which I will delight you with before we say our final goodbyes.
