In this exciting live-streamed and interactive online experience, I will take you to the medieval and Renaissance-era district in Old Lyon.
We will start from the amazing gothic cathedral Saint-Jean and see the funny sculptures on its facade. I will then take you to the world-famous maze of hidden passageways known as Traboules, which can take you from one street to another from within the buildings and were once used by silk workers who wished to keep the tricks of their trade secret.
Continuing on, we will pass through some incredible courtyards, such as the Tour Rose or the iconic Pink Tower, and bustling squares full of restaurants, such as the Place Neuve Saint-Jean. This will be a great opportunity to discover the local fare of the French capital of gastronomy, including the region's famous pralines and chocolate Coussin de Lyon.
