The world remember and knows about the 9/11 event. All Americans knows about the Ground zero memorial site. But who has heard about the 9/11 Living Memorial Plaza in Jerusalem?
Experience with me the virtual tour of the only 9/11 memorial outside of the United States that includes all the names. The plaza was built in remembrance and honor of the the 2980 souls lost including the plane’s passengers and crew of the “9/11 Attack” - a series of airline hijackings and suicide attacks committed in September of 2001. This attack is known It as the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil in the United States history.
Memorial Plaza is a cenotaph located on a slope of a hill in the Arazim Valley of Ramot, Jerusalem. It was opened on November 12, 2009. Though the site is off the beaten track to tourists, you’ll get a chance to see this memorial up close on a virtual tour with me. I will share interesting facts about the memorial and about the unique relationship between Israel and the USA.
