Meet your Host
Frank Dowling

Frank grew up in the southeast of England, in his home town of Whitstable and the neighboring city of Canterbury where his grandparents lived and he went to school. After school, he read German at a University in England and Business Studies at another University in Germany. Consequently, he is now completely fluent in German language and is a chartered linguist. Whilst at the university in Germany, he worked part-time in the travel industry, so it was natural that after graduating he started his own travel business. Later, he set up a branch office in Berlin. With changes in the industry, and as he was getting older, Frank decided to train as a tourist guide and today holds both the Green Badge qualification for Canterbury and the Blue Badge qualification for South-East England, as well as being England's Coast Ambassador for Southern England. Additionally, he has a car that is licensed and insured to take passengers and guide them in it.
