Description
The University of Victoria is ranked #1 in Canada for employability after graduation. It is considered the best comprehensive university in Canada, preparing students for work in the global job market. From its heritage just over 100 years ago as farmland and nursery property, the campus has grown to over 400 acres. Its reputation has grown through one of the best international co-op work programs where students are employed with over 300 institutions and businesses worldwide as part of graduation requirements. Join me on this interactive online campus tour if you are considering the University as your potential academic home.
We will start our tour at the University of Victoria at the transit loop, with its connecting buses to downtown, grocery stores, airports, up island, and ferries for the mainland. I will touch on the history of the University, the city of Victoria, and the island. During this tour, we will also travel down popular walking routes to some of the university buildings, and talk about how student residence is set up here, as well as take a look at the health and fitness facilities. I will attempt to answer all your questions and clear any doubts you may have regarding student and campus life here at the University of Victoria.
