Description

After picking you up from your hotel, the guide will take you on a day excursion to the capital city Islamabad and Rawalpindi, its twin city. Constructed in 1960 to replace Karachi as Pakistan's capital, Islamabad is well known for its high standards of living, safety, and abundant greenery. The city is also known for the presence of several parks and forests, including the Margalla Hills National Park and Sharparian Park. You will visit the following places:

Faisal Mosque: It is a mosque located Margalla Hillside. It is the National mosque of Pakistan, and one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world. It is named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia.

Daman-e-Koh: It is a viewing point and hill top garden north of Islamabad and located in the middle of the Margalla Hills. It is about 2400ft from sea level and almost 500ft from the city of Islamabad. It is a popular destination for the residents as well as visitors to the capital. Daman-e-Koh is a midpoint for tourists on their way to the higher viewpoint Pir Sowhaba.

Seidepur Village: An ancient village with a history of more than 2000 years. It is famous for its handicraft pottery. The village existed before Islamabad was built and is now the favourite weekend destination for the city.

Pakistan Monument: Located in the Shakarparian Hills, it is a national monument and a heritage museum. The monument was constructed to symbolize the unity amongst the people of Pakistan.

Rawalpindi City Tour: Rawalpindi is the fourth largest city in Pakistan by population, while the larger Islamabad and Rawalpindi Metropolitan areas are the country's third-largest metropolitan area. The region around Rawalpindi has been inhabited for thousands of years. Rawalpindi falls within the ancient boundaries of Ghandhara and is in a region with Buddhist Ruins. You will see places like the Rafay Mall, the city centre, Rania Hall and Raja Bazaar.

Super Market/Centura Shopping Malls: You will visit the popular markets and shopping malls where you can buy souvenirs for your family and friends. All kinds of local commodities and imported goods are available.
