On this live-streamed campus tour, we will explore the Northwestern University campus as well as familiarise ourselves with important hotspots for student life and congregation, such as athletic fields, coffee shops, nearby forests, and along the lakeshore. The lakefront offers a trail for biking and hiking with endless views like that of an ocean; local shops and restaurants charm the town and make Evanston feel cozy and inviting. The school's athletics programs have been booming in recent years: field houses for sports keep the body active while the mind can grow and wander in all directions from business to science and everything in between.
Along with an overview of the University’s campus in Evanston, I will also tell you about the brilliant public transit system that connects Evanston with Chicago and allows for even bigger adventures in the university's vicinity. I will introduce you to the city of Chicago, its attractions and mid-western culture and history, and help you decide where to visit, how to get around, and give you an introduction to what locals like to do.
With this tour, you will be able to grasp certain novel aspects of Northwestern's reputation as a prestigious research university. You will also see that the extracurricular programs and activities here are numerous.
