This live-streamed walking tour will begin at "Kasbah Square" where many ministries are concentrated, and head to the residential "Kasbah quarter" which was reserved to the aristocracy of the city. Take a walk on "Dar ElJeld st", "Pacha st" and "Tribunal st". As we walk,we will discuss the medina history and architecture. Then we are going to visit "Dar Lasrem" an astonishing palace built at the beginning of 19th C, known as the best preserved old aristocratic mantion of the medina. Next we will move to the heart of the medina visiting "Sidi Ben Arous" mausoleum", "Chawachia souk"(Hat market), and will have a brief view of the huge minaret of the medina's oldest mosque "Al Zaytuna". Then we make our way through "Berka souk"(Jewellery market) and "Sidi Youssef mosque" both built in 1612, from there we will cross the Slaves market in order to reach a rooftop known as the most famous one in all the medina, from which you will have a breathtaking view. We will also visit an ancient motel converted in a cafe. Later we make our way through "Castle st" and "General square". Our last visit will be Medersa Slimania which was a school built in 1754. This hour-long tour ends close to the oldest and biggest mosque in the medina "AlZaytuna" built in the 8th c.

Walk with me as I show you the beauty of the Old Medina of Tunis on this live-streamed, interactive online experience.
We will begin our tour at Kasbah Square, where many government buildings are concentrated, before heading to the residential Kasbah Quarter which was reserved for the aristocracy of the city. We will discuss the history and architecture of the Medina as I walk through Dar El Jeld street, Pacha street and Tribunal street. Then we will visit the Dar Lasrem, an astonishing palace  built at the beginning of the 19th century and the best-preserved old aristocratic mansion of the Medina.

Next, we will move to the heart of the Medina visiting the Sidi Ben Arous mausoleum, Chawachia souk (hat market). We will have a brief view of the imposing minaret of the Medina's oldest mosque Al Zaytuna.
