Walk with me as I show you the beauty of the Old Medina of Tunis on this live-streamed, interactive online experience.
We will begin our tour at Kasbah Square, where many government buildings are concentrated, before heading to the residential Kasbah Quarter which was reserved for the aristocracy of the city. We will discuss the history and architecture of the Medina as I walk through Dar El Jeld street, Pacha street and Tribunal street. Then we will visit the Dar Lasrem, an astonishing palace  built at the beginning of the 19th century and the best-preserved old aristocratic mansion of the Medina.

Next, we will move to the heart of the Medina visiting the Sidi Ben Arous mausoleum, Chawachia souk (hat market). We will have a brief view of the imposing minaret of the Medina's oldest mosque Al Zaytuna. Then we make our way through Berka souk (jewellery market) and Sidi Youssef mosque both built-in 1612, from there we will cross the Slaves market to reach a rooftop known as the most famous one in all the Medina, from which you will have a breathtaking view. We will also visit an ancient motel converted into a cafe. Later we make our way through Castle street and General Square. Our last stop will be Medersa Slimania which was a school built-in 1754. This hour-long tour ends close to Al Zaytuna, the oldest and biggest mosque in the Medina built in the 8th century.
