Description

Discover the best of Paris architecture through three of its most famous landmarks: the Louvre, the Palais-Royal, and the Opera House.

We will begin this live-streamed, interactive Online Experience from the Louvre, which was the residence of the French Kings for hundreds of years before being transformed into the world's largest museum. Here, you will also see the glass pyramid and learn why this piece of modern architecture was a huge controversy as soon as the project was initiated in the 1980s.

As we cross over to the Palais Royal, your guide will tell you more about France’s most emblematic monarch Louis XIV (also known as the Sun King) and his private residence from where he escaped a failed assassination. You will then get to visit a hidden gem tucked away from the buzz of the city. The garden of the Palais Royal is one of the prettiest green spots in Paris.

We will eventually walk up Opera Avenue, built as one of the most prestigious thoroughfares in the second half of the 19th century when the city was completely transformed. Take a short stop at the Cafe de la Paix to take in the imposing facade of the stunning Opera House, where some of the greatest singers and musicians in history have given concerts and performances over the ages.
