Explore the Verona of Romeo and Juliet
William Shakespeare is one of the most famous poets of the world and, we can say, also one of the fathers of the English language. He wrote a lot of poems, dramas, and plays during his life, that is still mostly unknown. For instance, few people know that even if a lot of his works are set abroad (Danmark, Italy), he never travelled outside fo England.

Description
This Shakespearean walking tour will take you to Verona, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, where the romantic tale of Romeo and Juliet took its shape. During this real time tour, we will see the places that are connected to the epic tale and talk about the history of the city, the families Capulet and Montagues (that really lived in Verona in the middle ages), and of course, William Shakespeare.
We will begin at Piazza Bra, and then we will walk next to the Arena and the Roman Amphitheatre and reach the point where the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt was set. Finally, we will go to the medieval heart of the city and visit the courtyard with the famous balcony which many believe was Juliet's house. We will end the tour next to a place that is believed to be Romeo's house.
