Located on the Tagus riverfront, Lisbon has greatly evolved over the centuries, thanks to all the perks of being bathed by the brackish waters of a river this close to the Atlantic Ocean. This live-streamed, interactive Online Experience will allow you to explore Baixa, the historic heart of Lisbon, and uncover its beauty.

We will start our virtual tour from Commerce Square, the unofficial meeting point locals prefer for a stroll on sunny days. From here, we can see the 25th of April Bridge, the left bank of the Tagus, the Castle of St. George, and the magnificent downtown that was built after the earthquake of 1755. Together, we will explore this area, and learn about the tragedy that transformed the city and the history which predates it, as well as the contemporary lifestyle of people in the downtown area today.

We will get to see the beautiful Santa Justa Elevator and Rossio Square and end the tour by the Church of São Domingos and the memorial to the victims of the Jewish massacre of 1506.
