Join us on this Online Experience to explore Tromso, a fascinating city in the far north of Norway full of history, quaint wooden buildings, and many cultures. Depending on the time of year, we may experience snow, sun, or rain, but as we say, "there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing", so we will make sure our guide is wrapped up warm and ready to host you whatever the weather!
We will begin our tour from Skansen, the historic city centre, and learn about what motivated many people to settle this far north. Making our way to the harbour, we will admire some beautiful views of the channel and mountains surrounding the island and take a view of the magnificent Arctic Cathedral. Walking around, we will talk about Arctic fishing and hunting and compare images of what the harbour used to look like back in the day with how it stands today.

Next, we will visit Tromso Square and Main Street, where we will learn why this city is often referred to as "The Paris of the North". As we admire the colourful wooden buildings in the locality, we may even see a Polar Bear! Finally, we will visit the statue of a well-known Norwegian explorer and end the tour with an interesting story.
