Proceed to the Spanish Arch, so-called due to Galway’s merchant trade with Spain, whose Galleons often docked under its protection. I have been sharing my love for Ireland through tourism for over 20 years. A native of Connemara, my family has been in the tourism sector for centuries. I was lucky enough to attend the famous Kylemore Abbey school as a day student, and as a student standing on the bridge overlooking the abbey, I swore that one day I would be leading tours back to Kylemore Abbey & other beauty regions. I went on to study Tourism and later Eco-Tourism as my desire grew to see and preserve this beautiful landscape for future visitors.
