Description

Join me for a real-time walking tour in Fukuoka. I will introduce you to Yakushi Jizo, which are the Healing stone Buddhas and the prestigious Kashii Shinto Shrine. This is a perfect opportunity to learn about Japanese religion and culture. This is an interactive session, so you can ask me anything at any time during the experience. I will also show you the Torii gate, Main Hall, and lucky charms, and will explain their significance in detail.

We will end the tour with a visit to a 100-year-old Soy sauce shop that my family has been patronizing for three generations.

  • Keiko took us to a local temple which her family has helped build. It was really nice to get an insight on the local culture. The Shinto Shrine was quite impressive.
