On this tour, you will be able to see the wonderful Reichstag - the German parliament building dating back to 1894, the historical landmark Brandenburg gate that proudly stands right next to the former East/West Berlin border, the Holocaust Memorial that was opened in 2005 to remember 6 million murdered Jews of Europe, the famous Bebelplatz where 20,000 books were burned by Nazi students in 1933, and the wonderful Unter der Linden, the major avenue leading all the way to Brandenburg Gate.
We will also drive across Museum Island, home to amazing historical museums and wonderful architecture. You will get to admire the beautiful Berlin Central Cathedral or Berliner Dom and the new castle just across it. Next up is Alexanderplatz, a major square in Berlin with its TV Tower, the tallest building in Germany with its 368 m height.
We will continue along the wonderful Karl Marx Allee with its signature wedding cake architecture, ending the tour at fairytale Obebaum Bridge after seeing the world-famous East Side Gallery, the longest art gallery in the world painted on the former Berlin Wall.

My name is Miha and I am originally a veterinary doctor working in Pharmaceuticals. After moving to Berlin, I started pursuing my passion: showing wonderful places to my guests. I have always been a history buff, in love with architecture and design and to add an extra: I am also a singer, so I might surprise you with a song. I have been tour-guiding in Berlin for 4 years now and loving it. I do cycling, walking, and driving tours explaining topics like WW2, Berlin Wall and the cold war, Jewish tours, Berlin Street Art, and architecture, secret districts, beer tasting, etc.

Such an insightful tour of Berlin. We felt transported to the bustling city centre with our guide who was knowledgable and engaged all of us really well- young and old. We will definitely visit the city when we can and hire his services via tourHQ when we can travel again.

I have not been to Berlin earlier- this tour was perfect in that I got to see everything about the city- from the Berlin wall, to both East and West Berlin. Miha was a great host, and he is so knowledgeable about the city. It was also interesting hearing his perspective of the local people. My 75 year old father enjoyed this in particular as he was able to relieve spots that he had seen around 20 years ago when he had last gone to Berlin.
