Come join me on this unique Online Experience and witness Siena through the eyes of a seasoned local!

We will start this live-streamed, interactive online experience from the Basilica of St. Dominic, which was built like a fortress to protect a part of the population from the enemy's attack as well as to project the power of the Dominican Order. We will proceed to catch a glimpse of the beautiful cityscape with the cathedral and the buildings of the historical center. Then, heading towards the main street, we will stop at a stable that still organises the famous horse race 'The Palio' twice a year.

At the Main Street, we will stop by two small squares. At the first one, we will admire three beautiful buildings that are property of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the oldest bank in the world. At the second square, you will see the pillar of the she-wolf and one of the oldest private buildings in the historical center, Tolomei's Family Palace, with original facades that date back to the 13th Century. 

Our next stop will be the Old Cathedral; en-route, I will shed light on the Pilgrims Road as we cross it. The facade of the Cathedral has impressions of Roman and Gothic Architecture from the 12th Century and is a reflection of human nature.

We will finish at the main square 'Campo', where we run the Palio. The square is garlanded with beautiful buildings from the middle ages. The fountain, Clock Tower, stonework on the pavements and decorated City Hall will surely transport you to the golden era of Sienna. Join me!
