We will begin our tour from the Roman Amphitheatre (2000 years old). We will talk about this amazing monument built at the same time as the Colosseum in Rome. It is one of the best-preserved and the 6th biggest Roman Amphitheatre in the world! We will talk about how and why it was built and take a sneak peek inside the Amphitheatre. Then, we will visit the Twin Gates; in one place, in just 5 buildings, we can see the most important stages of Pula history - all the way from the Histri Era to the president day.

Moving ahead, you will admire the Hercules Gate, the oldest preserved monument in Pula, dedicated to the Roman God Hercules. Next, we will visit the Arch of the Sergi - a great architectural masterpiece that stands at the main entrance to the old city for 2000 years. It was admired by many artists, used as an inspiration by Michelangelo.
The next leg of our tour is the Foro Romano (Roman Square), the main square of Roman Pula, and the center of administration, religion and public life for 2000 years. Towards the end, we will visit the Augustus Temple - the amazing monument built 2000 years ago, with a lot of history to tell.
Finally! We will end our tour at the Kastel - the hill in the center of the town - a place of the first settlement of the iliryan tribe Histri 3000 years ago, now a Venican fortress shaped like a star from the 17th century, with a panoramic view of the harbour and the city.
