Itinerary

Day-01 - Arrive Kathmandu
- Arrive at KTM and transfer to the hotel or Lalu's homestay in Kathmandu.

Day-02 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu, Pashupati, Boudha and Swoyambhu
- After breakfast, start sightseeing: UNESCO heritage sites Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
Visit the Pashupatinath temple, the most important shrine for Hindus in Kathmandu. Although non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises, the cremation area around the Pashupatinath temple is interesting for foreigners. Listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1979, this area has many Sadhus/Hindu holy men who are the center of attraction for many foreigners. Make sure you want to pay them if you take their pictures, as they ask for money for being photographed.
Then visit the Swayambhunath, meaning "the self-existent", which is popularly known among foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large number of monkeys population residing in the area.

Day-03 - Drive to Nuwakot 75KM (3-4 hrs scenic drive)
Visit Nuwakot which is the historical city from which the present Nepal was unified.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Palace of the Royal family and their family goddess. The view from the temple side is amazing.

Day-04 - Sightseeing in the Durbar square area in Nuwakot and village excursion
You will visit the Seven-Story Palace, which is decorated with wooden carvings, the Bhairabi temple, which houses the female deity, and other palaces and a museum.
After lunch, you will go to the Nuwakot hilltop, from where you will see the sun setting and a wide paddy field, along with a view of the two rivers, Tadi and Trishuli.

Day-05 - Day trip to Suryagadi (3-5 hrs round trip)
Visit Suryagadi, the fort during the unification campaign—TI's highest point. From here, you can view a wide range of land terraces. This 3-5 hour day trip gives you full satisfaction for the entire trip.

Day-06 - Nuwakot
Enjoy village life and participate in various activities of the host family. You can work in the kitchen, go to the water tap, go to the temple to worship the god or work in the field to harvest crops.
You can visit the school in the middle of the village and experience Nepal's schooling and educational organization.

Day-07 - Drive back to Kathmandu visit Boudhnath Stupa
Drive back to Kathmandu.
Visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the oldest monuments in Kathmandu valley and one of the first monuments with a written history. One of the biggest pilgrimages for Tibetans, the area around this stupa is also known as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. UNESCO listed it as a world heritage site in 1979 A.D.

Day-08 - Sight seeing Bhaktapur and Patan city
Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is on the eastern side of the Kathmandu city and is also referred as the city of Devotees and the fact is justified by hundreds of temples in the area. The home to the vibrant Newari culture, this is also the city of festivals. The 55 windows palace, the tallest pagoda in Nepal, the Pottery Square and the museums in Bhaktapur have made it the best Palace area in Nepal and also a must-visit place in Nepal when you are here.
Visit Patan, which is known as the city of fine arts. Patan Durbar Square is one of the places in the Kathmandu Valley where the medieval arts and architecture remain in its original state. The Durbar Square is full of ancient places, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings, mostly the Hindu and Buddhist monuments.

Day-09 - Leave Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport 3 hours earlier than your time of departure.
