There is then the option of delving into the desert, searching out the Egyptian nightjars and warblers, the twinkle-toed lizards and formidable scorpions on the vehicle of your choice, be it 4x4, camel or car. And don’t leave without sampling one of those bubbling Berber tagines; hotpots of cinnamon, spice and earthy vegetables, washed down with a healthy serving of camel  milk .
