- Hear about many interesting people who lived in Canterbury or visited it, including the famous Canterbury pilgrims, immortalized, among others, by Geoffrey Chaucer in his Canterbury Tales, reputedly the first book ever published in the English language. About 60 miles (100 kilometres) from London, today it is a primary commercial centre, with buildings from the Middle Ages to the 21st century.
- You will hear how the world's first railway to carry a scheduled passenger service brought passengers and goods to the city, why Julius Caesar stayed in the area four times with his army and other exciting stories. This experience will end close to the entrance to the cathedral.
