Saghi Tavakkoli was a very nice guide for me and my friend! We were very lucky to get to know her! She showed us the famous sights of Mashad, like the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza. She knows the hidden places, like vegetarian restaurants, where we enjoyed delicious Iranian dishes. She gave to us a surrounded orientation of Mashad! Besides that we have lots of personal interests in common, so we spent a joyful time together! Mashad was our first place in Iran, we had not much clue about the country and the culture. It was very helpful and interesting for us, that she gave to us an introduction not only for Mashad but also for Iran itself! In the end she left us with great advices also for Yazd, her hometown and our next stop in our journey. She gave useful information about the best hotels for us and the best sights to see. Furthermore she also gave some untypical ideas, like to watch a traditional sport of Yazd. We did the most of her suggestions and enjoyed all! To sum up, I'd like to say that we had a very precious time with Saghi and because of her!!!

Saghi was officially our guide in Yazd from 5 to 8 May 2015, but truth be said she was already our guide long before that, when we first decided to book our trip to Iran. For 6 months she was unstoppable in helping us booking hotels, discussing rates, choosing the most interesting cities or the unmissable monuments. She fully understood our way of traveling and the best way to show it was the taylor-made guided-tour she gave us once we finally met in Yazd. Each of the 3 days we spent together was carefully planned by her, with an excellent balance between monuments visits and pure leisure moments having a tea, sitting in a park simply watching people. The logistical aspects - as transportation, the visiting timetables or the best moment of the day to avoid extreme heat - were also always taken into account, facts which demonstrate her dynamism and pro-activity. It was a real pleasure to spend time with her, not only because she was knowledgeable and willing to respond to our many questions, but especially because she was an extremely kind and friendly person, with very strong capabilities both professionally and at personal level. We came across Saghi while searching the web for Tour Guides in Iran.Contacted Saghi months before our arrival at Iran, basically when we started preparing our trip and faced the first obstacles. (e.g. no replies to our emails).From the first moment we sent a WhatsApp, we have received a prompt reply.
