Mari was our guide while in the Galapagos Islands on a 7 day cruise. Her enthusiam when finding and describing new species for us was over the top and made our trip the best it could have been. Thanks Mari !!!

Excellent is really not a good enough rating for Mari! All of our guides onboard the Celebrity Experience were wonderful, enthusiastic, helpful and caring! After our first ride with her, I have to say that Mari really was the guide we wanted to be with and also the most talked about. Her knowledge and expression combined with her delivery of her information in an almost theatrical way, with honesty and sincerity definitely elevated our excitment of this once in a lifeime trip. I mean, you would think that the unique experience of being surrounded by the nature of the Galapagos could not be improved upon, but you would be mistaken, as Mari's way of 'running' her excursions was calm and relaxed and at the same time gave just the right amount of seriousness so that it kept us on our toes, ready for the next wonderful experience. With her guidance and synergy with the zodiac driver (all of them just as exceptional as our guides), we checked off "To-Do" and "To See" items from our top wants at an alarming rate! We really could not have asked for more of a guide.  Her love for Equador, the Galapagos and her job were apparent in absolutely every aspect of her personality  She the real deal,a good egg, and its our hope that our paths cross again. 

What can I say about Mari - she's the best!  We had the great opportunity to accompany Mari on several hikes and zodiac outings during our wonderful trip to the Galapagos Islands and she ensured that each experience was exciting, fun and filled with learning.  Her passion for and knowledge of these Islands is inspiring and she was able to make us realise what a very special and fragile part of the world it really is.  Her very respectful approach to the wildlife we encountered was wonderful to observe and, perhaps because of this, she always found what we were looking for!  I can't think of one outing that didn't live up to our expectations - her enthusiasm is infectious!  Thank you Mari - you helped make our trip to the Galapagos Islands a dream come true.
