I engaged ther services of Hem for a short trek from Pokhara to Poonhil and back with 3 days. From the start; Hem proved to be very professional and made my trip very worthwhile. Hem is knowledgeable; friendly and easy going. He was good company throughout the trip and catered for my requirements as arranged. I will certainly recommend Hem for any group or individual trek and plan to go back for a longer trek as well.

We had Hem as part of a business/touristic tour through Pokhara. He deeply impressed me and my mother by his clear English as much as his vast knowledge. He is a local to Pokhara, and even worked at many of the local sightseeing places like himself. He did not say anything when we very spontaneously changed the tour plan and he was able to adapt very well to our uncommon trip. Hem was an amazing guide and knows Pokhara hiking very well! We did a 4 day trek with him and a Porter. The first day unfortunately it rained, so there were leeches. Hem was accommodating, quickly finding a tea house near by and the next day a different leech free route.  We then hiked up to Gorepani and on to Gandruk for the next few days enjoying beautiful weather. Hem found the best rooms :) in each tea house we stayed in.  I would recommend him to anyone looking for a guide in the Pokhara area.
