DineshThanju was one of our best OAT guides. He is knowledgeable, well-spoken and took care of everyone when we got ill. In just a few days he made us feel like we were long time friends. We loved his jokes and anecdotes. One thing that stands out in a good guide, is how much he/she can help the group to absorb the culture of the land. His love of Nepal and its people shined through all as he showed us not only the sights but also the culture of his country. He was always on the lookout to show us things out of the ordinary. With his help, were able to meet and interact with the people of Nepal. We were at the scene during a rally by women in Kathmandu; at an Ihi wedding; at a sacrificial celebration. He stopped people on the road so we could asked them questions about their lives. It was just a full immersion in Nepalese culture. He was always available to help and answer anyquestions or concerns we might have.

Dinesh is an excellent guide and served in many roles. He educated us about history and traditions and advised us  about cultural practices. The visit to Nepal was a combination of hiking in the mountains, touring historic cities and town, and visiting temples. Because of Dinesh's help and guidance, it was a wonderful experience. 

Wir waren im Oktober / November 2017 in Nepal. Unsere Rundreise in einer großen Reisegruppe mit Dinesh als Reiseleiter war wunderschön und wird uns unvergesslich bleiben. Für mich war es die schönste Reise überhaupt. Dinesh spricht hervorragend deutsch. Man kann sich wunderbar mit ihm unterhalten. Er hat ein großes Wissen (in alle Richtungen), das keine Frage unbeantwortet lässt. Mit dem nötigen Ernst, aber auch immer mal wieder mit einer guten Portion Humor, hat er uns sicher durch sein wunderbares Nepal geführt und ist trotz der manchmal knappen Zeit auf all die Wünsche von jedem Einzelnen eingegangen. Für mich ist Dinesh der perfekte Reiseleiter. Ich kann ihn nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Und wenn ich wieder nach Nepal komme, dann soll er wieder mein Reiseleiter sein. Dinesh ist ein guter Freund geworden. Ich wünsche ihm von ganzem Herzen alles alles Gute, Glück und Erfolg, Gesundheit und ein langes Leben !  Und weiterhin viel Freude bei seiner Arbeit !   NAMASTE
