This was my first ever land trip with GCT, so I don't have any experience rating guides, but I will do my best. I liked Sonja very much . She was very congenial, easy to talk with, and in my mind had a great deal of knowledge about the animals. Her understanding of English was quite good, but often it was difficult to understand her over the PA system in the bus. Think some of this was just the system itself.

Sonja is well versed in the history, geography, and politics of South Africa. She treated everyone kindly and she was always concerned about our well being.
