We had Jakes as our tour guide during our 3 week trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town. We've really enjoyed his enthusiasm and broad knowledge about South Africa. We appreciated his honest view about the country. He explained the good and the bad things, which is much more valuable than a promo talk. We would really recommend everyone to hire him as a tour guide in SA. 

Jakes was out tourguide for 21 days. With his humor and calmnes the journey was relaxed and entertaining. He knows all the good restaurants. When it’s karaoke he will join and amaze you even more. And when you have a special request, in our case whale watching, he mends it in the schedule. 

Jakes is an excellent guide. He was funny, friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the country. He was always available when you needed him. I couldn't imagine a better guide for our tour in South Africa!
