My name is Natalya Suprun. First of all I must apologize for my English (i am from Russia), but i hope everybody can understand me!

It's an honor and pleasure for me to write this review about the guide Ray Haakonsen!

I was lucky to spend 6 days with Ray, who accompanied me along Garden Route. Ray was recommended to me by my tour operator, whom I fully trust! Ray is a great person, a very positive and kind man, a wonderful driver! All this time, he took care of me as i was a member of his family not a guest! We visited many interesting places, created a couple of our own jokes and shared knowledge about the culture and customs of our countries! Ray always was looking for special places for our lunch and dinner! If you are going to South Africa, I highly recommend you guide Ray Haakonsen! When I return, I definitely will take advantage of his services! Thank you alot for everything, Ray! I enjoyed my trip and i met new friend!

Thanks to Ray our tour of South Africa was beyond our expectations!  Ray was knowledgable about all the places we visited (i.e. Cape Penensula, Aquila Private Game Reserve, Stellenbosch wine country, Franschhoek wine country, Hermanus, Constantia Wine Region, and Betty's Bay and more..) and was attentive to our needs as guest of his beautiful country.  Ray even went out of his way our last day to show us Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden in Stellenbosch which was icing on the cake for us.  We stayed on a strict schedule but he was always showing us other small treasures throughout the tour, going the extra yard all the time. Ray too was always there to tell us how to catch the perfect picture and we partically liked taking our Rayfies (selfies with Ray) on our adventures through the breathtakingly georgious country side.  This was a life altering trip for us as we fell in love with South Africa.  Thanks again Ray! 

Ray provided my fiancé and I an amazing tour of Capetown. He listened to our interests and personalized a tour for us, showing us amazing spots in his city. He even paid special attention to have sparkling wine and flowers set out for us at lunch as we were on our Honeymoon. I would highly recommend working with Ray for a custom tour. He was informative and helped us explore the city in the short time we had.
