July 2016 I traveled to Africa with three of my grown sons.  We are curious, avid travelers, and George Meyer was a tireless guide.  George's knowledge and understanding of all manner of things is incredible really, from the people to history to flora and fauna.  He is resourceful and patient and kind to all.  George is good humored and loads of fun to be with.  George was respectful of fellow guides and just as curious as we were to learn new things.  

We will always be grateful that George was our guide on our stupendous safari in Botswana.

George was an asbolutely amazing tour guide and he made our trip to Cape Town one of the best trips we have ever had. He was super friendly and charismatic. He was especially knowledgeable about every little thing that Cape Town had to offer and it's vast history... I've never met someone who expressed as much passion for the place that they lived in as George did. He was also extremely willing to change our original itineraries based on our personal schedules, wants and needs, and to make sure that we did not miss something that we needed or wanted to see. He was always on time and we really could not have asked for a better person to take us around Cape Town. Our entirely family recommends him to any one who wants to have the best time in Cape Town!

Our family of 5 spent 5 days with george and i would rate him as brilliant. Not only in personality, friendliness, but knowledge, and he took a lot of care to please each member of our family. He had a great impact on our three teenage boys. After we travelled around africa, the boys would say for the other guides " he is good...mum, but nothing compares to George". Best Guide ever. We feel like we made a good friend.
